At Lancaster, we highly recommend using VEKAdeck™ Pro after years of successful installations. VEKAdeck™ Pro resisted the cellulosic trend in composite decking and developed the first cellular reinforced PVC deck board... VEKAdeck™ PRO. This deck board also has the benefits of being non-absorbent so it may come into direct contact with the ground and it will not rot or decay, is fade resistant plus it is impervious to salt water and chlorine. So encouraging were our own field test results, that VEKAdeck™ PRO was sent to be assessed according to the 2006 International Residential Code® (IRC), the 1997 Uniform Building Code™ (UBC) and with Architectural Testing’s Code Compliance Research Report Program (CCRR). Our 100% vinyl compound is resistant to ultra-violet, chlorine, salt spray and humidity, this makes VEKAdeck™ PRO an ideal material for swimming pool decks, docks, piers and other marine applications.

Color Retention

VEKAdeck™ PRO is fade resistant under normal weathering conditions. Insect Resistant - Impervious to insect damage. Splinter Proof - PVC compound will not crack, check, splinter, rot, flake or peel. Light Weight - Cellular extrusion process makes VEKAdeck™ PRO easier to handle than wood and plastic composite materials.

Slip Resistant

Embossed wood grain anti-skid surface is slip resistant when wet or dry.

Impact Resistant

Meets or exceeds ASTM Standards for breaks and punctures. Fire Resistant - VEKAdeck™ PRO will not sustain a flame in the event of fire. Low Maintenance - VEKAdeck™ PRO does not require painting or sealing butt joints. Easy to Clean - Cleans with mild soap and water. Environmentally Friendly - Recyclable PVC saves our precious forest resources. Because VEKAdeck™ PRO is UV and water resistant, periodic chemical treatments are not necessary.

VEKAdeck™ PRO has one of the lowest heat build-ups in the industry as demon-strated by this equidistant heat lamp test. VEKAdeck™ PRO with UV reflectance additives can maintain a significantly lower temperature difference as compared to a composite deck. This means that the VEKAdeck™ PRO surface will remain cool and comfortable even in bare feet.
